About The RoleThe Practitioner will work with Orange Door staff and leadership to deliver services to Aboriginal women, men, and children who enter our intake system. This role requires a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to our organization's vision and purpose. You will need to be aware of and appreciate Aboriginal societies and cultures, with the ability to continually build your knowledge of these areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver services to clients in conjunction with Orange Door staff and leadership
  • Work with Aboriginal families and children
  • Apply Family Domestic Violence models (MARAM), approaches, theories, and practices when dealing with clients
  • Apply Information sharing scheme (FVISS, CISS)

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in social work or related field
  • Full Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Current Working With Children Check and clear National Police Check
  • COVID-19 vaccination (including booster as applicable)
