A prominent Federal Government department is seeking to engage a skilled Senior Business Analyst (Cyber Security and Risk) to contribute to a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather, comprehend, and document business needs, processes, and to formulate high-level solutions and system architectures.
The responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst (Cyber Security and Risk) include:
- Collaborating closely with IT and business project teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, thorough testing of solutions, documentation of technical issues, implementation of changes, and achievement of business goals.
- Facilitating workshops and various collaborative or research initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Contributing to solution design while considering enterprise architecture, cyber security, information, and data management to address complex challenges for immediate business objectives and future requirements.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Business Analyst (Cyber Security and Risk) position will possess:
- A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience as a senior business analyst in technical projects.
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops for large groups of stakeholders and the ability to synthesize input into actionable requirements.
- Valuable knowledge and experience in cyber security.
- Experience in producing documentation such as business cases, submissions, user journeys, process maps, functional decomposition models, user stories, and test cases.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity within a Federal Government Department to be part of a supportive and collaborative team. The successful Senior Business Analyst (Cyber Security and Risk) will be offered an initial contract with options for extension.
