We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team in Darwin. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advising both internal and external stakeholders on parts across our diverse range of premium brands.
Key Responsibilities- Parts Sales and Inventory Management: Increase and maximize all parts sales by liaising with our client base and ensuring adequate and appropriate supply.
- Parts Interpretation and Support: Provide expert interpretation and support services to our Townville Branch activities.
- Customer Engagement: Build relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business and promote the use of genuine parts.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest product developments and updates, using this knowledge to maximum advantage.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant Qualifications: Completion or in the process of completing a certificate in Parts Interpreting or equivalent industry training and/or experience.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a parts interpreting or related industry role.
- Product Knowledge: Sound knowledge of MTU, Detroit Diesel, Allison and other associated products sold through our Parts departments.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of the principles of operation of internal combustion engines and automatic transmissions.
