Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. offers a rewarding career opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team at the Bravis mine site.

About the Opportunity

This customer-facing role requires extensive knowledge of large mining hydraulic excavators and excellent technical advice skills on hydraulics and mechanical components for Hitachi's Large Mining Excavator range.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading OEM, ensuring safety and satisfaction at work, and promoting Hitachi's service and parts to achieve Total Customer Satisfaction and high-quality support.

We are looking for a dedicated individual with strong communication and self-organization skills to manage documentation related to machine performance, customer products, workmanship, warranty, and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of fitters and provide holistic technical advice on hydraulics and mechanical components.
  • Plan and execute shutdowns, working with the Service Department to exceed expectations.
  • Proactively seek improvement opportunities and resolve queries promptly.
  • Manage documentation related to machine performance, customer products, workmanship, warranty, and diagnostics.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and duty of care towards yourself and others.
