Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Lead to oversee day-to-day operations and drive profitable growth in the Mackay and Rockhampton regions.

This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who excels in both operational efficiency and business expansion. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, improving processes, and delivering results.

The Role:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of security operations across both locations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
  • Lead a small team of security officers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Business Development:
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the region to expand the client base and increase market share.
  • Foster relationships with existing clients and explore opportunities to cross-sell additional Protective Security solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and service gaps, aligning business development strategies with regional market demands.
  • Actively participate in tenders and proposals, particularly targeting large contracts.
Leadership and Administration:
  • Provide strategic leadership, implementing continuous improvement processes to enhance service delivery across the regions.
  • Collaborate with the head office to ensure accurate operational and financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance tracking.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
