Kilberry Valley Primary School is an inclusive educational environment.

We cater to students representing 40 different language backgrounds, providing a Prep to Year 6 program tailored to meet individual needs. Our student body comprises 425 students, with high expectations for literacy and numeracy.

In literacy, we implement the Little Learners Love Literacy program in our early years, focusing on synthetic phonics to support students in becoming successful readers and spellers. For our middle and senior years, we employ the Reader's workshop model, using differentiated teaching approaches and encouraging independent reading.

Our Numeracy approach utilizes the Victorian Curriculum, incorporating hands-on manipulatives and real-life learning experiences.

These programs utilize state-of-the-art facilities, including a TV Studio, computer labs, media arts space, performing arts rooms, and full-sized gymnasium. We actively participate in interschool sport and regularly achieve successful teams across various sports.

The Learning Specialist will be a highly skilled educator who continues to spend most of their time in the classroom delivering high-quality teaching and learning. Responsibilities include teaching demonstration lessons, observing and providing feedback to other educators, and facilitating professional learning within the school.
