Leadership Role

This is a key leadership position within a Catholic school, overseeing the Learning Diversity Team and ensuring inclusive education that fosters each student's full potential.

The ideal candidate will lead educational initiatives to deliver contemporary learning opportunities for diverse learners. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain an unwavering focus on learning across the institution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing educational leadership for students with diverse learning needs
  • Leading staff in delivering inclusive and contemporary learning opportunities
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to sustain focus on whole-school learning
  • Engaging with families and external agencies to support student participation and progress

The successful candidate must have a commitment to Catholic Education and an understanding of charism and spiritual tradition in a Catholic school context.

They will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop productive relationships with students, staff, and parents regarding student needs.

A secondary school teaching background is highly desirable, with experience as a special education teacher/leader in a secondary context being particularly valuable.

The ideal candidate will be able to analyze data, interpret test results, and monitor student progress. They will also be skilled in leading staff in continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in areas related to students with diverse learning needs.
