Project Support Officer Role Summary:

A seasoned project professional with postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in managing complex projects is sought to join our team.

  • Working effectively in high-pressure environments and fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing effective communication strategies, including advanced technical writing skills.
  • Staying abreast of industry developments and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Providing expert analysis, design, planning, execution, and evaluation of work to meet time, cost, and quality targets while identifying and mitigating risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience in project management.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the field of project/program management.
  • A current security clearance (minimum NV1).
  • A solid understanding of project finances within the Defence environment and the relationship with Defence Finance Group processes and systems.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Defence CASG project environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Defence processes and structure.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum.
