The Department of Education, Western Australia, is seeking an experienced and adaptable professional to fill the role of Business Support Officer.

The Job Description

This position plays a crucial part in supporting the department's Corporate Services team. As a key member, you will work closely with the Manager Corporate Services to deliver high-quality finance and business operations support.

  • Coordinate purchasing activities across all campuses and manage freight logistics effectively.
  • Ensure accurate financial planning, monitoring, reporting, research, and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Support the maintenance and replacement of the school's physical assets, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • B Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in school financial management, facilities management, and knowledge of the department's purchasing policies and procedures will be highly regarded.
