Design Mechanical Solutions

As a mechanical engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative mechanical solutions across multidisciplinary projects.

You will develop detailed design models and simulations, ensure optimal performance in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, and collaborate with peers across various disciplines to solve complex challenges.

  • Develop and deliver detailed design models and simulations for mechanical and HVAC systems, utilizing industry best practices.
  • Design efficient and sustainable mechanical systems, including cooling, ventilation, and fire suppression systems.
  • Support the integration of advanced technologies in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to meet client needs.
  • Contribute to project management activities, helping to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines while addressing technical challenges effectively.
  • Represent the team in meetings to share insights and solutions, working closely with senior engineers and other stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A recognized tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within a consulting business environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and design tools.
  • A keen interest in contributing to mechanical engineering solutions across a range of projects.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to support collaborative problem-solving.
