We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that every meal is a delightful experience for our residents. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Culinary Manager to develop menus that meet the needs of our residents.
  • Ensure that all meals are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, waste management, and food safety protocols.
  • Implement effective purchasing and cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Deliver food services that meet the needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Maintain high standards of menu delivery and quality.
  • Coordinate the preparation and presentation of nutritious and varied meals.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
  • Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Communicate effectively with the Culinary Manager and other team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef in a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and HACCP standards.
  • Skilled in leading and training kitchen staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in inventory management and cost control.
  • Understanding of aged care principles and practices.
