About This Exciting Role

We are currently looking for a skilled Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic team at QT Gold Coast. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards within loading dock and stores operations.

This exciting opportunity requires a strong ability to maintain accurate records of orders, receipts, and inventory levels. You will work closely with our Purchasing Manager and Stores person to develop and implement effective procurement strategies.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in ordering large volumes of food and beverages, ensuring invoices are received, and organizing stock takes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to compare usage against budget will also be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate records of orders, receipts, and inventory levels
  • Collaborating with the Purchasing Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies
  • Ensuring seamless delivery of goods and services to meet hotel operational requirements
  • Analyzing data to inform purchasing decisions and optimize costs
Requirements:
  • Strong all-round experience in customer relations, food hygiene, food and beverage product knowledge, and communication
  • Prior experience in ordering large volumes of food and beverages, ensuring invoices are received, and organizing stock takes
  • Able to analyze data and compare usage against budget
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
