About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate mental health professional to join our team at Access Psych. As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health support to clients across various services, including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and Medicare.

As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case managers, and employers to assist individuals in returning to work and fully re-engaging with the community. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with diverse mental health needs;
  • Collaborate with clients, healthcare professionals, and employers to facilitate successful return-to-work outcomes;
  • Conduct thorough assessments and interventions using your clinical expertise;
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards;
  • Work in a hybrid (telephone and face-to-face) environment.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • AHPRA registration as a General Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker;
  • ACA level 3 or level 4 accreditation as a Counsellor or Full Clinical PACFA membership;
  • Permanent residency in Australia;
  • A passion for improving lives through work and health;
  • A commitment to working with workers compensation clients.
