Key Responsibilities:

Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to manage, monitor and govern technology-related risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance or risk management, preferably within the technology sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing best practices for software development lifecycle management, setting strategies for proportionate risk management and governance, and defining minimum requirements for risk management.

Additionally, they will oversee governance and compliance with technology policies and standards, design automated metrics for data quality, exception handling and risk management, and escalate non-compliance issues to the Technology leadership team and Board.

As part of our team, you will collaborate with Risk Management on assurance strategies, review standards for cohesion and effectiveness, and contribute to fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in compliance or risk management, ideally within technology, financial services or a regulator
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to influence decision-making and solve problems effectively
  • Leadership skills to guide and motivate junior team members
