Onshore Wind Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage onshore wind projects, delivering various services throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will have expertise in technical and commercial advisory services, including feasibility studies, desktop studies, and strategic advisory.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage complex project teams and communicate effectively with clients. They will also have experience in developing practical solutions to multifaceted problems and managing resources on projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in engineering/project management in a professional environment related to onshore renewable energies (Wind, Solar, BESS)
  • Proven track record of projects, industry reputation, and network in Australia
  • Experience in developing and managing a team in Australia
  • Has been a part of a project team for a recently executed onshore wind project in some capacity
  • Profound industry knowledge and a thorough understanding of onshore renewable project development and execution and interfaces management, design and engineering, project economics, risks, and commercial aspects
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Standards, Supply chain, grid, and Construction challenges
  • Basic technical expertise in all core areas of an onshore wind farm/Solar/BESS, specialization/subject matter expertise beneficial
  • Experience in negotiating and executing complex construction contracts (EPCI and BoP) beneficial
