Job Description

A Heavy Diesel Mechanic is required to join our team in a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Heavy Diesel mechanics and mobile plant equipment fitting.

The role involves ensuring the highest standards of safety are maintained, and that all work is carried out to the highest quality.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery and mobile plant equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with complex mechanical systems.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet productivity targets.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Qualifications: A minimum Certificate III in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Experience & Skillset: Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated work experience and technical knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Analytical thinking: Ability to navigate complex technical issues in repair and maintenance services with minimal to zero rework.
  • Autonomous productivity: Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively, delivering quality outcomes to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction.
