Job Summary:
A skilled Mental Health Specialist Physician is sought to provide expert psychiatric care in an Acute Inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient outcomes, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of tailored treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and managing patients with complex mental health issues
- Developing and implementing individualized care strategies
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Providing guidance and support to junior staff members
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and policy development
Requirements:
- FRACGP or equivalent registration
- Experience in Acute Inpatient psychiatry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills
