Job Title: Geology Assistant

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality geology technical services and collaborate effectively with the broader mining team to maximize returns.

  • Interact daily with the geology team to plan and coordinate daily work activities.
  • Assist with production activities such as ore mark-ups, ore spotting, and collecting in-pit samples.
  • Participate in RC drilling activities including sampling and rock chip collection.
  • Collaborate with project geologists and drillers to address any drilling or core-related issues.
  • Evaluate and ensure that sample handling and data recording processes meet quality assurance and control standards.
  • Complete all tasks associated with daily and weekly sample dispatch services to the assay laboratory.

About You:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Current Western Australian drivers' licence.
  • Forklift certificate is desirable.
  • Apply First Aid certificate is desirable.
  • A basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
