Production Quality Control Engineer

This role will oversee the inspection of vehicles, modules and assemblies across MILVEHCOE operations from assembly to customer acceptance.

They will lead investigations, analyses and countermeasures for significant quality issues while fostering problem-solving concepts and continuous improvement.

The Production QC Engineer ensures that non-conformities are rectified and recurrence is prevented. They will provide expert-level support in quality management to meet operational requirements and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

  • Mechanical or Quality Engineering qualification is required;
  • Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance delivering complex platforms/systems in a highly regulated industry;
  • Internal or external audit experience;
  • Exposure to SAP working environment;
  • Demonstrated Quality Management principles expertise;
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications;
  • Lean Manufacturing experience including Root Cause Analysis Techniques;
  • 8D and A3 tools proficiency;
  • Australian Government Security Clearance eligibility (Australian Citizenship required).
