Senior Planner

We drive outcomes-focused budgeting to deliver impactful public spending.

The Planning, Housing and Infrastructure branch provides advice and recommendations on government policy and budget proposals. It advises on major policy reforms related to planning, housing, lands, government property, and natural disaster recovery and mitigation.

As a senior planner, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality outcomes that underpin strategic project development, implementation, and evaluation.

You will analyse and provide advice on policy, regulatory, financial and economic issues facing government agencies. This will involve establishing sound relationships with Treasury and agency contacts for the collaborative monitoring of performance and the implementation of change.

Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with stakeholders is paramount. You will contribute to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy.

Key responsibilities:
