About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team at Calvary Kooyong, a brand-new facility located in Caulfield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day upkeep of our facilities, including performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to maintenance requests, and collaborating with our maintenance supervisor to achieve our goals.

You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean living and working environment for our residents and employees. If you have 2-3 years of experience in a relevant trade industry, a working understanding of aged care accreditation standards, and a commitment to quality improvement processes, we encourage you to apply.

Estimated Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Requirements

  • Possess 2-3 years previous experience in a relevant trade industry.
  • Some prior experience in an aged care environment, with a working understanding of relevant Aged Care Accreditation Standards, compliance requirements, and Quality Improvement processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing contractors, including JSA's/SWMS, SLA's, work orders.
  • A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
