Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and community-focused individual to provide home-based care to older people in the Shire of Indigo.

This role involves building trust with clients, supporting them to live independently at home, and staying connected to their community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Offering general home support, light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and companionship services.
  • Providing incidental transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy for the needs of the elderly, and a proactive attitude.
  • Patience, reliability, and a desire to improve the lives of seniors and their families.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Level 2 First Aid certification.
