Looking for a senior professional to lead our AML compliance efforts in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager with expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations to oversee the delivery of comprehensive services focused on risk assessments, gap analysis, and independent reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement AML systems and controls that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough business process reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with AML regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on AML legislation and regulatory developments, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required information and reports.
  • Lead internal audit reviews and manage communications with regulatory bodies, including AUSTRAC surveillance activities.
  • Apply technical knowledge and business acumen to provide practical solutions and insights to clients.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Directors to identify business development opportunities and drive growth initiatives within the AML division.
  • Participate in internal initiatives focused on people leadership, learning & development, quality & excellence, and thought-leadership material.
  • Empower teams through coaching and leadership, while providing detailed reporting and communication to key stakeholders on AML compliance and associated risks.
