Project Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner with proven competency in working within the Engineering & Mineral Resources sectors. The successful candidate will have well-developed P6 experience and be able to work across multiple client deliverables.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling, take offs, forecast planning, developing integrated master schedules and resource allocation. They will also be expected to establish and maintain project cost control, collaborate with stakeholders, and engage with Project Managers on timeline changes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with ~4-10 years of experience in a multifaceted Engineering Consultancy, EPC or EPCM engineering firm with a Mineral Resources lean. Graduates with a BSc in Construction Management are also considered for this role.

  • Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Developing and managing project schedules, resource allocation, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Cost Control: Establishing and maintaining project cost control, collaborating with stakeholders, and engaging with Project Managers on timeline changes.
  • Integrated Master Scheduling: Developing and progressing integrated master schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.

Key Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience: ~4-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multifaceted Engineering Consultancy, EPC or EPCM engineering firm.
  • Technical skills: Well-developed P6 experience, scheduling, take offs, forecast planning, and resource allocation.
  • Education: A BSc in Construction Management or a related field.
