Job Title:

Formwork Carpenter – A Vital Role in Civil Infrastructure Projects

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct, install and dismantle formwork structures with precision and accuracy to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and blueprints to execute tasks accurately.
  • Assist in concrete pouring and ensure proper setup and alignment for a flawless finish.
  • Inspect formwork structures to guarantee adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain and care for carpentry tools and equipment to ensure longevity and effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any formwork-related issues that arise during the construction process.
Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter in civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of formwork construction techniques, materials and best practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Commitment to safety standards and practices on construction sites.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Certification in carpentry or relevant trade qualifications is an asset.
