We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Specialist to join our Community Development team in Cairns. Reporting to the Design Lead, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for all aspects of civil infrastructure projects including land subdivisions, urban development, and roads.
Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.
The Role- Preparing Conceptual and Detailed Designs: Utilizing 12D software, you will create comprehensive designs for land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems, and associated infrastructure.
- Interpreting Civil Design Requirements: You will interpret civil design requirements from State Government, Local Government Authorities, and private sector clients.
- Collaborating with Disciplines: Interfacing with planning, survey, traffic, electrical, and landscaping disciplines to deliver high-quality results.
- Client Interaction: Ensuring expert and quality service is delivered to clients through effective communication and project needs identification.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating with diverse teams nationally to achieve project goals.
- Civil Design/Drafting Experience: Demonstrated experience in civil design and drafting.
- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent experience.
- 12D Software Expertise: Demonstrated experience using 12D software.
- Familiarity with Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements.
