Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision, and be able to handle complex and sensitive legal information with discretion.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role is required, along with a tertiary qualification in law and admission to practice as a lawyer in Tasmania.

You will also be required to undergo a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, which may include a police record check and other relevant background checks.
