The Religious Education Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading the RE Faculty and collaborating with other department leaders to develop and implement an effective educational program. Their responsibilities include teaching RE up to stage 6, driving curriculum development, and differentiating instruction to cater to student needs.
- Develop a comprehensive RE program aligned with Catholic education principles.
- Lead the RE Faculty in planning, teaching, and assessing student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure a cohesive educational program is implemented.
- Utilize educational technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Support the College Pastoral Program and be responsible for a Home Room and PACE program.
- Completed study toward a Graduate Diploma or Master of Religious Education, Theology, or Theological Studies from an accredited institution.
- Proven leadership experience focusing on rigorous student learning, engagement, and growth.
- Ability to teach RE up to stage 6.
- Able to lead Religious Education in all curriculum development, implementation, and differentiation aspects.
- Baptised Catholic with demonstrated evidence of ongoing commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Commitment to academic excellence and knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices.
- Valid Working with Children Check and commitment to child safeguarding principles.
