
Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the Emergency Department and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will provide medical treatment for drug or alcohol addiction, extending specialist AOD coverage and improving linkages across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide AOD education and training within the emergency department
- Facilitate referrals to appropriate community-based services
- Coordinate access to and follow-up for SSDTA clients during their residential withdrawal stay
Requirements:
- Qualification in Nursing with relevant registration/experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience, preferably in AOD or related sector
- Experience in Addiction Medicine and/or related fields
- Working knowledge of the SSDTA and the Victorian AOD service sector
