Job Opportunity

The Case Planning Officer role is a key position within our correctional services team.

This position plays a vital role in managing inmates' cases, assessing their risks and needs, and developing plans to reduce re-offending.

Working closely with custodial and probation officers, you will ensure smooth transitions from prison to the community, while promoting rehabilitation and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team of professionals across APAC to create a culture of openness, trust, and transparency, promoting equality and removing barriers to diversity.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Criminology, Social Work, or Social Sciences.
  • A Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) or equivalent.
  • Experience in case management and/or rehabilitation and reintegration practice.
  • Exposure to the Criminal Justice System or similar human services.
  • Competent computer literacy and report writing skills.
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills.

This position carries trust and responsibility, requiring a comprehensive probity assessment, including a National Police Check, as part of the selection process.
