Gaming Supervisor Role

At Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, a luxurious five-star hotel with breathtaking Pacific Ocean views, we seek a highly motivated Gaming Supervisor to lead our sports bar and gaming lounge team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar and gaming area, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of gaming transactions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-Day Operations: Supervising and managing the smooth operation of the bar and gaming area, including providing exceptional customer service to patrons.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring that customers receive prompt and professional attention, addressing concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Compliance: Maintaining strict adherence to all relevant gaming regulations and company policies.
  • Team Management: Providing training and support to team members to uphold high standards of performance and service delivery.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of gaming transactions, payouts, and machine maintenance.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a gaming or hospitality environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Gaming Knowledge: A strong understanding of gaming regulations and compliance requirements is essential.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to interact effectively with patrons and staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are necessary for this role.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
