Security Officer Job Opportunity

This exciting role offers the chance to work on various events and activities held at sports and entertainment centres in Wollongong.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patrons and provide exceptional customer service
  • Control access at entry and exit points
  • Maintain conditions of entry and monitor crowd behaviour
  • Provide event and venue information, secure perimeters and restricted areas
  • Protect people and assets, and prepare general security records and reports

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Flexibility and availability to work dynamic events, frequently evenings and weekends
  • Enjoy working with people and providing excellent customer service
  • Reliability and punctuality, as well as a fit and healthy lifestyle
  • Current Security License (NSW 1A), First Aid Certificate, and Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card
  • A passion for events, sport, and entertainment
