Job Description:

NSW Hansard requires skilled transcribers to provide accurate and clean verbatim records of parliamentary committee hearings. Transcribers will work independently, utilizing their own equipment, to create high-quality transcripts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Transcribing and editing parliamentary committee hearings
  • Ensuring accuracy in transcripts through thorough checks and reviews
  • Meeting deadlines as set by NSW Parliament
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful, you will need:

  • Proven transcription experience
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English comprehension
  • Ability to consistently follow formatting and style guides
  • Autonomy and self-motivation
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
