Experienced early childhood professionals are invited to lead a childcare room in Mickleham.

This role involves implementing an innovative curriculum while building strong relationships with children and families.

The position is permanent part-time, 37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday on a rotating roster from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Foster trusting and secure relationships with children and their families.
  • Mentor and supervise educators to maintain excellence, innovation, and fun.
  • Implement our curriculum to deliver a quality education and care program for the children.
  • Manage daily classroom routines effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Lead Educator/Room Leader in a long day care setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
  • Current Working with Children's Check.
