We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Analyst to join our team at NSW Government, contributing to the development and maintenance of complex integration frameworks that ensure seamless information exchange between healthcare systems.

About Us

Negotiating salary packages is based on location Chatswood, Charlestown or St Leonards in New South Wales. An attractive estimated salary for this position is $137,173 - $163,431 per year, plus superannuation and annual leave loading benefits.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining data integration solutions in a health setting, with excellent technical skills across a range of web, server, database, mobile, and integration languages and technologies. They will be responsible for designing and implementing interfaces to integrate healthcare applications using various integration engines, including JCAPS, e*Gate, Rhapsody, MuleSoft, HL7 V2, CDA, FHIR, Restful, and SOAP interfaces.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex integration frameworks to ensure seamless information exchange between healthcare systems.
  • Design and implement interfaces to integrate healthcare applications using various integration engines.
  • Collaborate with NSW Health Local Health Districts platform and system teams, eHealth teams, and vendors to ensure interoperability between systems.
  • Lead and participate in formal and informal settings to develop organizational knowledge and understanding requirements.
  • Ensure new interfaces meet organizational privacy, security frameworks, align to HA and disaster recovery redundancy capabilities.
  • Maintain documentation on functional and system requirements.
  • Develop software using cloud technologies like ECS, SQS, Kubernetes, Fargate, AWS Lambda, Docker, and JavaScript.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in developing and maintaining data integration solutions in a health setting.
  • Languages and Technologies: Excellent technical skills across a range of web, server, database, mobile, and integration languages and technologies, preferably MuleSoft, .Net, NodeJS, Java.
  • Integration Engines: Proficiency in using various integration engines, including JCAPS, e*Gate, Rhapsody, MuleSoft, HL7 V2, CDA, FHIR, Restful, and SOAP interfaces.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and Initiative: Ability to lead and participate in formal and informal settings to develop organizational knowledge and understanding requirements.
