We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Integration Architect to collaborate with our team in Brisbane / Sydney. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from either of our offices or remotely.

About the Role

This 8-month contract, with potential for extension, presents an opportunity to join our dynamic and inclusive culture. As an Integration Solution Designer, you will work closely with Business Analysts and Solution Designers to create and review integration designs, ensuring APIs align with business requirements.

You will be responsible for designing microservices frameworks and design patterns, collaborating with Solution Architects to review solutions and estimate their feasibility from an integration perspective, and planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design.

Responsibilities
  • Design microservices frameworks and design patterns to be used by teams across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to review solutions and estimate their feasibility from an integration perspective.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of software development experience, preferably in the integration domain, with 2+ years in an Integration Solution Designer role.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations on microservices-based architecture.
  • Knowledge of systems integration, Spring Boot, APIs (SOAP, REST), API Management platforms (Apigee), events streaming (Kafka), and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
  • Experience as a senior developer with hands-on experience in writing microservices using cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum.
