**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Integration Solutions Architect to lead and mentor multiple engineering teams in evolving our strategic payments capabilities. In this role, you will guide teams through application design and architecture, ensuring technical solutions align with business goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Senior Java Integration Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and building integrations between multiple microservices using your hands-on experience with microservice frameworks. You will collaborate in an agile environment, creating user stories and acceptance criteria while identifying potential risks.

You will apply DevOps principles, leading the team toward automation, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting incident management. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing APIs that meet high standards of reliability and performance.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need a solid background in Java with a strong understanding of software development best practices. A proven track record of leading microservice integration, focusing on reliability and quality within complex ecosystems, is also essential.

You should have proficiency in developing microservices using Spring Boot, along with skills in containerization, cloud technologies, and service orchestration. Hands-on expertise in event-based and message-oriented distributed systems (e.g., Solace, Pub/Sub) is also required.

A extensive background with automated API and integration testing, including knowledge of relevant tools, is also expected. Exposure to payments or cards products and/or API-based financial services platforms is a plus.
