We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical educator to join our team as a Senior Medical Educator - GP Training Specialist.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of general practitioners (GPs) across Australia. As a Senior Medical Educator, you will play a key role in shaping the future of general practice by delivering high-quality training programs that support GPs in their professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for GPs, including small group teaching, educational content development, and performance assessment
- Collaborate with the GP Training Program Management team to achieve program outcomes and ensure consistency across all training sites
- Provide registrar support, education, and mentorship to enhance their learning experience
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with supervisors and training sites to foster a supportive environment for registrars
- Contribute to the development of educational content, resources, and policies that align with the RACGP's strategic objectives
- Degree-qualified medical practitioner with significant experience in medical education and training
- Proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality training programs, with a focus on GP education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including GPs, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate educational content and program effectiveness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting changing priorities and deadlines
- $153,000 - $195,000 per annum, plus superannuation
