About the Role
The Director Medical Services is a senior executive accountable for ensuring delivery of quality clinical outcomes, District KPIs and strategic priorities. They are a key member of the District Quality and Governance Council, the Hub and Group executive teams, and other coordinating bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all decisions and accountabilities regarding the management of the Hub and areas under their portfolio.
- Provide advice and exert influence over aspects of the actual delivery of care and clinical services in collaboration with executive nursing management and senior operational managers.
- Role model and lead a culture of excellence based on the organisation's values to ensure the organisation delivers safe and timely patient-centered care.
