**Job Role:** Associate Director Tax

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely tax effect accounting and compliance outputs for the organization.

The successful candidate will join a team that is dedicated to simplicity and innovation, fostering a culture of equity and respect.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of tax return calculations and tax effect accounting activities.
  • Supporting the Head of Tax in delivering on key compliance and tax reporting obligations.
  • Providing tax accounting technical advice on key business transactions.

You will bring:

  • Strong tax technical skills with significant experience in corporate income tax obligations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, transforming complex financial data into meaningful insights.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, ability to manage tight deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • A strong understanding of the Financial Services industry and its regulatory environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Significant experience in tax effect accounting and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An undergraduate qualification in Law, Finance or Commercial (preferred but not essential).
