Job Overview

As a Delivery Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping businesses transform their operations and applications using the power of cloud services. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading companies in Australia and New Zealand, driving innovation and growth through software engineering and application development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to educate partners and customers on using cloud services for product development and launch.
  • Deliver technical engagements with partners and customers, including consulting proposals and service offerings.
  • Work on projects that involve migrating and modernizing existing applications and developing new applications using cloud services.
  • Provide insights to engineering and support teams on customer needs and feedback, informing technology roadmaps and recommending new capabilities.
  • Pursue innovative solutions with clients and partners, leveraging data analytics and artificial intelligence to drive business value.
Requirements:
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale big data platforms, data lakes, and/or data warehouses.
  • Leadership experience in discovery and design workshops, estimating, scoping, and delivering customer proposals aligned with analytics solutions.
  • Proficiency in one or more relevant tools (Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Hue, Zookeeper, HCatalog, Solr, Avro, Parquet, Iceberg, Hudi).
  • Software and data engineering expertise in Java, Python, PySpark, Node, or other programming languages.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strategic thinking on business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience leading large-scale global data analytics projects aligned with business use cases.
  • Data quality management experience: processes to measure and manage data quality, enforce data controls, and provide data assurance.
  • Implementing cloud services in various distributed computing environments.
  • Strong customer-facing skills to represent the company well within the customer's environment.
