Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide efficient and effective management of the specialist medical practice, including achieving financial and quality indicators within an environment of person-centred care and in accordance with the ethos, philosophy, mission, values, and ethics of St Vincent's Health Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, including human resources, planning, and budgeting.
- Provide administrative support to specialist medical practitioners, including managing practice software packages, billings, bookings, and medical administration functions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided by the practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including financial and quality indicators.
- At least 2 years previous experience as a Practice Manager or similar position.
- Ability to work on a casual basis.
- Proven ability to manage small business/office, including human resources, planning, and budgeting.
- Broad-based administrative experience with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage practice software packages, including billings, bookings, and medical administration functions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and preparing medical correspondence.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to remain focused in a busy environment.
- Self-motivated and well-organised, ability to work unsupervised and oversee the management of other Practice staff.
