Job Opportunity

We are seeking an IT professional to design and develop innovative solutions for business users in Europe and Africa. As part of our team, you will work closely with colleagues across all business functions to deliver high-quality projects.

Main Responsibilities And Key Performance Indicators
  • Create regional and local systems/RPAs using approved tools and methodologies.
  • Develop software/RPA components that meet requirements laid out by the RDS team members and can be integrated into larger projects.
  • Pioneer proof-of-concept prototypes to define/elicit requirements using approved development tools and methodologies.
  • Conduct code reviews of Regional Developed Systems RPA projects to ensure maintainability and quality.
  • Provide day-to-day support as and when required for the systems/RPAs delivered to the business by the RDS team.
  • Technical assistance may be required to be given to other teams on a prioritised basis.
  • Business analysis support may be required to be given to other teams on a prioritised basis.
Skills And Qualifications
  • A minimum IT graduate or equivalent experience in application design, development, and implementation is required.
  • Experience with RPA solutions is mandatory; UiPath is preferred.
  • Required programming languages:
    • VB.Net (within the context of Ui Path activities)
    • HTML/CSS
    • ECMA Script; Javascript, Google Apps Script
    • Python
  • Desirable programming languages:
    • Bash-script
    • C#
    • Java
    • PHP
    • VB.Net
  • Proficiency in relational databases & SQL is essential.
  • Experience working with, and setting up development environments is necessary.
  • Understanding of version control systems such as Git is crucial.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Business Analysis experience is desirable.
  • Experience within Liner shipping is desirable.
  • Fluent English; speaking and writing is essential.
