Job Title: Technical Software Specialist

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert for application development and integration services in ERP systems, including SAP EEC and SRM. They will provide expert technical knowledge and leadership for developing and revising complex objects that utilize or modify AIS data to meet requirements specified by the DLA process owner/customer.

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze user requirements to identify needs, evaluate technical feasibility, suggest alternative approaches, and develop solutions in terms of software design.
- Develop design specifications and documents Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCI).
- Develop coding for more complex objects or projects.
- Provide software development/integration perspective on functional requirements and specifications.
- Advise on Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) components.

 

Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Tour of Duty: Set Schedule.
- Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive, No Access.
- Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.
- Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt.
- Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
- Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized.
- Bargaining Unit Status: Yes.
- Defense Acquisition Workforce position.

 

Qualifications:
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.
