Your Responsibilities:

The Senior Property Accountant is responsible for overseeing the complete accounting cycle for a diverse real estate portfolio, focusing on compliance, management accounting, and financial reporting. This role will provide essential financial insights and analyses for the designated property portfolio.

Daily Duties Include:

  • Creating, managing, and delivering annual budget forecasts for all property assets.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of operating budgets, including income and expenses.
  • Generating precise financial reports for monthly management reviews for each property.
  • Preparing and presenting forecasts for team evaluation and updates.
  • Reviewing and assisting with income and expenditure assessments.
  • Engaging in business partnerships to enhance financial strategies.
  • Collaborating with senior management to refine budget models proactively.
  • Working in conjunction with leasing and center management teams.
  • Preparing and monitoring tenant invoices, including calculations for monthly turnover rent.
  • Conducting tenant rental account reconciliations as necessary.
  • Performing quarterly reviews of direct recoverable income and expense reconciliations.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Possession of CA/CPA certification.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in commercial property accounting is advantageous.
  • Background in property accounting is essential.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a stable and rapidly growing organization. As a specialized property accountant, you will collaborate with a mid-large sized finance team and work closely with the company’s Directors. You will gain extensive exposure across various properties, playing a key role in enhancing the financial performance of the organization.
