Strategic Impact and Learning Lead

About the Role

This key position plays a pivotal role in connecting our purpose, practice, and operations to long-term strategic goals and priorities. It leads the implementation and evolution of our Social Impact Measurement and Learning (SIML) framework, ensuring that our strategy remains evidence-based and progresses towards our long-term outcomes with the South Australian community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and implement the Foundation's Social Impact Measurement and Learning framework to support understanding of progress against strategy, theory of change, continual learning, and adaptation.
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret data to support reflective learning, adaptive practice, and strategic evolution.
  • Engage with key sectors, stay across emerging trends, and ensure our work contributes to broader conversations on community-led practice.
  • Support partners to recognise and articulate their impact, fostering collective learning and shared storytelling.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in impact measurement, data analysis, or relatable roles/functions.
  • A strategic mindset to connect dots between measurement, learning, and influence.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate insights into meaningful action.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – to clearly articulate complex concepts.
  • A collaborative and people-centered approach to working with communities and stakeholders.

Details

The successful candidate will be based in Adelaide, with flexibility for regional applicants. A full driver's license is desirable due to travel requirements.
