Role Overview

The Fleet Maintenance Planner position involves coordinating and managing maintenance schedules in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our fleet of MUs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive maintenance plans, including identifying maintenance requirements, scheduling inspections, and defining necessary tasks.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
  • Maintain strict adherence to our maintenance strategy and industry regulations, upholding high standards of safety and reliability.
  • Closely collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure seamless material availability.
  • Leverage proficiency in SAP and MRP systems to enhance data management, generate accurate reports, and facilitate communication across teams.
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
About You

We seek an experienced planner with a proven ability to manage complex schedules and coordinate maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The capacity to solve complex problems and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with planning tools and software.
  • A strong background in a similar role as a Fleet/Depot or Maintenance planner.
  • Exposure to rail or heavy industry is preferred.
