Transmission Infrastructure Specialist

Position Summary:


HRG is commencing a project to employ Transmission Linesworkers across Australia. This is a permanent and full-time position with a competitive pay rate.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Work on a variety of structures and line voltages from 66kV to 500kV.
  • Trenching, lifting, and climbing poles for installation of underground cabling and overhead bucket work.
  • Installing and repairing poles, cables, and electrical equipment related to overhead transmission systems.
  • Operating a variety of different equipment with a commitment to WHS of yourself and others, at all times.
  • Using technology to complete electronic and paper reports to ensure work and details are recorded.

Requirements:



  • Fully qualified Electrical Linesworker with a minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Current Certificate III or equivalent qualifications in Electrical Transmission.
  • Relevant Electrical Workers Licence (Transmission) or the ability to obtain one for the state in which you work.
  • Experience in LiveLine work is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
