Energy Storage Engineer

The role involves a dynamic mix of technical and customer-focused tasks, ensuring battery energy storage systems operate seamlessly.
- Perform field service activities as per long-term service agreements.
- Conduct BESS planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Support project teams during commissioning of battery energy storage systems.
- Address and report warranty and technical issues, proposing product improvements.
- Maintain customer relationships through effective communication.
- Prepare and present service reports with recommendations.
- Act as a technical advisor to customer meetings.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade, and 2+ years of experience with energy storage systems and/or renewable energy, power systems design, and communication networks.
Key skills and qualifications include knowledge of LV and MV systems, EMS, battery modules, inverter technology, online platform communication systems, industrial networks, and protocols, PLC and control systems, PV systems, protection relays, variable frequency drives, HVAC, fire alarm, and suppression systems.
Experience in HV Switching Operations and BESS or Renewable Energy installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning is preferred.
