Land and Property Coordinator Role OverviewAbout the Position

This role involves building a safe, productive and sustainable operation.

The position values its people and provides opportunities to pursue career aspirations within a collaborative team environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate heritage-related issues and manage land management activities and offsite properties.
  • Manage rehabilitation activities and environmental contractors for land management tasks.
  • Engage with Aboriginal communities and develop cultural awareness activities.
  • Inspect areas affected by spontaneous combustion and coordinate remedial measures.
  • Meet regularly with leasees regarding rural properties and maintenance of offsite properties.
  • Analyze environmental data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide technical advice on environmental matters to support safe, productive and cost-effective mining operations.
  • Liaise with local landholders, community members and government officials.
Your Qualifications and Skills

To be successful, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the mining industry.
  • A thorough understanding of NSW environmental legislation.
  • Experience in mine rehabilitation, biodiversity offsets and land management activities.
  • Prior experience in property management.
  • Proficiency in project and contractor management.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
